Thing 1 and 2

I decided to participate in 23 Things because I have always had a desire to keep up with the latest technology. I have found with my own teenage children that their world revolves around their computer and their connections to it. Watching the video about today's learner made me pause and reflect on comments my son has made about school and how boring it is. The classes he enjoyed most and got the most excited about were those that incorporated technology in different forms. Engaging children of all ages is a mission we must face as educators. Knowing that others are reading my writing does have some impact on what I say and how I write. I'm a bit more cautious about what I say and am always trying to be aware of correct grammar, etc. It does feel good to know that someone might make a comment to inspire me further or challenge my thinking.
